A Video Guide to Installing Windows XP

We all want to have our system as fast as possible. The main action to do in order to achieve this is optimizing the registry, defragmenting the disk and removing unwanted services. However, ther are versions of windows xp avaible that only require around 15mb ram to run.
MicroXP or TinyXp are potentially illegal versions of windows. If you do have an valid windows license it is legal to install it, otherwise it is illegal. These distributions are basically windows setups with all unwanted, or unused stuff stripped out. I will not cost you a dime, except some time installing it. You will win a tremendous amount of system resources. These includes outlook, office, internet explorer, autoupdate and many other functions. I have used it myself and for Call Of Duty four, it gave me a frame rate boost from 30 frames per second to 75 frames per second. It is the best solution to increase your gaming experience.
However if you also want to it for other things besides gaming, you should install versions of popular applications that are portable and do not install any services. These portable software can be found via torrent, just like MicroXP and are free if you already have a license for the product. Caution should be taken with downloading from a torrent site that is public, since it contains a lot of viruses. You will also have to install a firewall and very good, light-weighted antivirus software. This is because, you cannot install updates, or the update that are released are days after the official release. To keep your system secure you should always have your antivirus updated.

Insert the Windows XP CD and reboot the computer. You will briefly see something about wanting to boot from the CD. When you see this, hit any key and you will be taken to the process of installing Windows XP. Go through the steps and it will work. I've done this before.
the music is nice
If you have two or more hard disks you can install XP in one of a hard disk which isn't used for Vista. Or you use Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 or VMWare.

You shoulding have any problems with a new install, just follow the prompts, normally takes about an hour or so. It all the updates that will take more time to download and install. If you have addtional programs to load, this is a good time to installed them.
