How To Install Windows XP Professional [instalare windows xp]

Hard drive partition that is used by systems using EFI (Extensible Firmware Interface) is termed as EFI System partition. Such partitions are formatted using FAT variant. They hold information like device driver files, boot loader and system utilities that are required before loading Windows. It is recommended to take EFI System partition as the first one while partitioning the disk. However if any other partition like MSR (Microsoft Reserved Partition) or data partition is being used as the first partition, it may lead to Partition Recovery needs. Systems using first partition, which is other than EFI system partition, are observed with certain issues while users attempt to install Windows XP (Professional edition) or Server 2003 (Datacenter and Enterprise editions) on Itanium based system. In such cases, few error messages can be seen together with that text-mode part of Setup may not work at all. This particularly is observed if setup itself or user tries to create EFI System partition.

Solution

  • Computer systems implementing Intel Itanium architecture with Intel microprocessors are called Itanium-based systems.
  • The solution requires to backup all the ESI system partition’s and first partition’s data first. It is also recommended to check backup status with respect to media integrity and holding all required files. However if users loses partitions data with out good backup, Partition Recovery Software can help recovering lost data.
  • We can delete first and then existing EFI System partition. Users can use Recovery Console or Windows PE for this purpose.
  • System can be restarted and Setup can again be run to complete installation as this time, it will successfully create EFI partition as first partition.

In case of missing, damaged or deleted Windows partition, Partition Recovery Software can be used to recover all missing information. These are the powerful tools to scan the affected drive. The applications are quite easy to use and are found to successfully recover all lost partition in any case. They are designed as read-only and hence are safe to be used. Users can simply carry out recovery by following the described steps. Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery is the safe and complete Partition Recovery product.
